In November 2008, Doug Schneider traveled to the Crystal Cable factory in Holland to get a preview of the company's Arabesque loudspeaker, which is estimated to cost 45,000 euros per pair when available. The Arabesque is unique because of its shape and because its cabinet is made of glass. In this first of two videos, Crystal Cable president Gabi van der Kley explains why her company decided to get into loudspeaker manufacturing and some of the design goals of the Arabesque.
